This year the Museum of Belarusian Book-Printing joined an international cultural event «Museum Night» once again. On May 22 the permanent exhibition stayed opened late hours so as many Polack citizens and guests of the city as possible could explore the history of Belarusian books.
Also the museum staff had prepared special activities for the museum’s visitors. A number of creative workshops united by a paper theme were working in the museum’s inner yard. The guests of the workshops tried ancient technologies of paper making and produced handmade paper sheets on their own. They experimented with different practices of creation of paper decorations (e.g. origami). They learnt calligraphy using a quill and a metal nib pen.
