Born in Abkhazia. After graduating from the textile institute in 1952, she worked as a shift manager at the fiberglass factory in Gus-Khrustalny, as a head of decorative and weaving shops. Since 1957 she had headed the weaving shop at Polotsk Fiberglass Plant, from 1962 to 1983 took the position of the director of the plant. The only female head of a fiberglass plant in the USSR. In 1978 she was awarded the title Honorary Chemist of the USSR.
She was awarded the Order of Lenin, the Order of the October Revolution, two Orders of the Red Banner of Labour.
The title of Honorary Citizen of Polotsk was conferred in 1987.
