Anton Antonovich DOBROVOL’SKIY (1899-1978)
Born in Vitebsk region. Participant of the First World War and Soviet-Polish War. From 1923 he worked in Polotsk Raion Committee of the CP (B) B. After graduating from trade courses in Leningrad, he worked as a deputy director of Belgossnab, as a director of Belkhimprom, and held a number of other senior positions. During the war he served as assistant commander for logistics. After the war, he worked in Polotsk in positions of responsibility in the Party and Soviet bodies.
Awarded nine orders, medals.
The title of the Honorary Citizen of Polotsk was conferred in 1967.
