"Golden Star of Zinaida Tusnolobova. To the 100th Anniversary of Birth" — a new edition of the series "Heritage of Polotsk Land"

The 21st issue of the popular science publication "Heritage of Polotsk Land" is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of the Hero of the Soviet Union, military medic Zinaida Mikhailovna Tusnolobova-Marchenko (November 23, 1920 — May 20, 1980). During the eight months of being at the front of the Great Patriotic War, the foreman of the medical service Z.M. Tusnolobova carried 123 wounded from the battlefield. On February 2, 1943, in the battle for the Gorshechnoye station of Kursk Oblast, she was seriously wounded, received severe frostbite, as a result of which she lost her arms and legs. But having serious illnesses and limited health, she did not break under the blows of fate, found the strength to live through the succesful engagement in public activities. Her whole life is an example of courage, unbending will, heroism and selfless service to the Motherland.
